While avoiding the bread you may lose a few pounds but it is also more prospectively going to cause failure of your gastric process sooner or later.

Your body is a complex machine and one that needs a variety of different things in order to run correctly. A combination of good healthy habits and a well balanced diet of healthy, all natural foods is the best way to ensure a long and healthy life. This may not find you dropping inches at a time but it will more than likely find you to be much healthier regardless of what the scale says.
