Fine lines and wrinkles might be taken care of with serums and creams but there is a time when that is just not enough. You might consider having a face lift when that time comes.

It's not something we want to think about but all those fine lines and wrinkles can make us look much older than we actually are.

There are many creams and serums out there that state they will get rid of those problems for us but often times they don't work like we want them to. When it comes time for the procedure you will be given an anesthetic and then he will make an incision along the hairline.

The fat and underlying tissue will be sculpted, redistributed, or repositioned. Also the deeper layers of the muscle and face lifted. The skin is re-draped and excess skin is removed. Sounds a little grotesque but the end results will be something that will make you smile. It's important that you follow your doctor's instructions to the letter following your face lift.

You may go home with bandages on your face and a small tube inserted to ensure that excess fluid or blood is drained off. You might not see a real improvement for a few months as it may take that long for the swelling to go down and the incision lines may take up to 6 months to be less noticeable. Your physician will give you all the information you need on recovery times. A face lift is a great way to minimize the signs of aging. While not permanent, every one grows old, it's a way to slow natures grip on you.
