In my last article I wrote about my quest for having liposuction in Thailand and I was about to have a consultation via Skype with a supposed surgeon

At a hospital in Thailand and I am writing this to let you know the outcome of that.  I got Skype up and running and soon enough I was dialing all the way to the other side of the world and found myself face to face with a hospital nurse who would be my guide through this whole consultation and would answer my questions as I gave them to her.
Anyway,Facelift in Thailand - Consult the manual Articles she was very pleasant and she explained what was about to happen.  I asked how many procedures they had done and they assured me that they had done many and that a facelift was just routine. They even asked me about my recovery plan in Thailand and I told them about the beaches and wanting to try Thai food and they said I would fit in really easy over there as Thailand has a lot to offer as a great tourist destination.  Essentially the nurse (her) would ask me some preliminary questions and then after that information had been taken down then it would be processed and they would email me a copy also.
During this time I would speak with a surgeon who would ask me more questions and examine my face over the glorious medium of the internet.  When I asked how this was done they assured me that they had a special computer program that, used in conjunction with Skype, could build a virtual overlay of my face that the surgeon on the other end can manipulate and work with in real time.  Sort of like motion capturing that is used in movies I suppose, I did not even know that this technology existed.
So I hesitantly filled in the preliminary questions, I had never been to Thailand before, never had a facelift in Thailand either and I had never had any medical allergies or was allergic to any known medicines.  When asked to describe if I had any other operations recently, when I mentioned my tonsils they said that it was so long ago that it was not relevant.  I had to put down the name of a next of kin for the operation, in the case that something went wrong (I was assured I was perfectly fine) and I nominated my sister.  I also gave them the name of my local doctor just in case.
After they had taken down all that information the screen went black and I was asked to wait for 10 minute whilst the doctor prepared himself, it was nearing 3am, I was getting a little tired so I grabbed myself a cup of coffee and headed back to the computer to wait.  I had no idea what was to come or whether or not they would accept me for this procedure but I knew this was the right thing to do and I was very happy.
