It consists of ethinylestradiol (artificial oestrogen, 20 micrograms) and desogestrel (artificial progesterone, 0.15 milligrams) as its active ingredients. This pill works in three ways for preventing a woman from getting pregnant. This pill can be taken by women who are 18 years old or above, but should be avoided by those who are pregnant or are breastfeeding. You are required to take this pill for up to 21 days of your 28 day menstrual cycle.

What is Femodette?

Femodette is also a combination pill that is quite common and popular among women to prevent them from getting pregnant. It has been proven to be almost 100% effective in protecting women against pregnancy. It consists of ethinylestradiol (artificial oestrogen) and gestodene (artificial progesterone) as its active ingredients. You are required to take this pill for 21 days of your menstrual cycle with a break of 7 days in between, during which you are likely to have your periods. This pill can be taken by women who are 18 years old or above. But women who are pregnant or breast feeding should avoid taking this pill.

Ovranette is one of the most popular combination pills, which is used by women all over the world for preventing unplanned pregnancy.
