Have you ever heard the term,Find the Mattress That's a Fit for You Articles "Sleep like a baby" used in context with getting a good's night sleep? Of course if you think about it, babies don't sleep all that well and they rarely sleep all through the night. Babies tend to sleep fitfully through both the day and the night because they get hungry, wet or cold but for adults who don't get enough rest through the night the reasons why are vastly different.

For adults who never feel they are getting a good night's sleep the root cause could be caused by a multitude of things including various medical conditions that impact the bodies ability to sleep such as sleep apnea or pregnancy or a chronic problem such as stress. Or it could be something as simple as your mattress.

You don't have to spend a fortune on a good bed to get a good night sleep but you do need to know what to look for in a good mattress to make the money you do spend is worth a good night's rest.

Your parents probably had the same bed their entire married life and it was likely so soft it had a permanent dent in the middle or so hard it could knock you out if you hit it hard enough. Comfortable beds were not always an option but the baby boomer generation was not a generation that embraced uncomfortable beds as a rule and the options and choices for beds grew to meet the growing demand.

Part of that growing demand was for beds that were environmentally friendly. After all mattresses don't exactly dissolve in the landfill, they aren't easily recycled and once they are used for the lifetime of a marriage you can't exactly say you didn't get your money's worth. But the eco-friendly green mattress is composed of biodegradable and sustainable materials that last and minimize your carbon footprint on Earth at the same time. But you don't have to feel like you're giving up a good night's rest to minimize your carbon footprint either. You can have your cake and eat it to- or in this case you can have your comfort and help the Earth.

You can also fall into the comfort zone with a bed that seems geared especially for the pregnant woman. If you have ever been pregnant you know how hard the last few month of your pregnancy can be when it comes to comfort. And sleeping can become almost impossible as your expanded belly finds no solace in bed. A memory foam top can give your pressure points some needed help and can form around your body to help the rest of you get some relief as well.

So if you truly are tired of sleeping like a baby and just want to have a good night's sleep look at your mattress and then look at your options and you may be surprised by what you find.
