Gyms are a community after all. Look out for all these gym no-nos.You regret all the time off and the added weight you've gained as a result. You might be pulling out workout gear from the last time you hit the gym. If that's the case, you might want to be very selective about what sort of attire you pick. I love wearing my new sneakers to all my in home personal training sessions. I like to look good in front of my clients. It's like wearing my company's uniform.

One of the biggest gym related mistakes people make regards their gear. Doing it right is pretty easy, just make sure it fits properly, doesn't constrict movement, and doesn't have things hanging out that shouldn't be hanging out. Be practical but decent as well. This goes for both men and women. A dude's crack being visible is just as indecent as a girls cleavage. We're definitely not saying you should be totally covered up, it's fine to be proud of your body and eager to show it off, just be reasonable. Wearing gear that doesn't fit is only going to hurt your workouts, it's not worth it, no matter how many dudes check you out.

It's also not necessary to wear work boots to the gym, it's not comfortable, looks stupid, and you'll probably end up tripping over something. You're at the gym to exert yourself physically, and sweating is inevitable. This is a good sign, it means you're getting a good workout and that your bodily functions are working correctly, so embrace it. This does not mean however, that leaving a nasty case of swampass on a bench is ok. No one knows your body like you do, so if you tend to sweat a lot, make sure you're prepared for it and other gym goers don't have to suffer for it. Clean up your equipment after using it, better yet, clean it before using it as well, just in case the last guy forgot to. Towels are very helpful for these situations.
