It should be taken with water ,before going to bed ,in doses of two teaspoons in a large cup of water. Swelling- apply two parts of turmeric powder with one part salt to the affected area. Toothache-apply 3 drops of clove oil to the affected teeth. Another herb bath, designed especially for sunburns, is to take two tablespoons of comfrey root and put in one pint of water. Simmer it in a covered pan for ten minutes, strain, and add liquid to your bath water. Other common aliments hemorrhoids may result from straining to move stool. It is also recommended is eating a large leek and drinking a glass of nettle liquid several times a day.
