If you are looking to get ponytails, waves, wraps and other longer styles, you may want to consider using human hair. Although it is more fragile and more expensive than synthetic, it has a more realistic look and feel that is hard to differentiate from your own hair.

Pick your extensions based on your hair color and texture. It doesn't make much sense for you to wear two different textures. It kind of defeats the purpose of getting extensions to make your hair look like your it is longer than its original length. It doesn't matter what style you are going for.
