Perhaps every single family would like to avoid illnesses. When they occur, it puts pressure on every family member and causes a lot of inconvenience. Many people are really fed up with that. Constant fight against different infections, colds, and viruses is terribly exhausting. What is the most annoying thing is that one can contract those terrible diseases,leading quite a healthy way of life. Some bacteria and viruses are simply flying somewhere in the air and can disable anyone in just a matter of few days. That’s infuriating, isn’t? Not to mention about more serious diseases, caused by a bad lifestyle. So, is it possible to avoid these problems? How can one do that?

Well, it is possible, and there are quite a few ways to avoid illnesses. The first what one should do to prevent diseases is to start leading a healthy lifestyle. Smoking is perhaps the worst enemy of the physical well-being. So giving up this horrible and highly addictive habit would be a very beautiful idea.

One has to remember that the people, who a smoker lives with, are often exposed to cigarette’s smoke too. No matter whether they have this horrible habit or not, by inhaling the smoke from the air, they become the so –called “passive smoker”. In addition to that, this habit not only affects lungs, but also has a very bad effect on many other organs.That’s why the treatment of many illnesses that have nothing to do with lung problem requires that the affected person stops smoking.  For example, there are many cures for thrombosed  piles available, but most of them are believed to be effective if a person doesn’t drink and smoke.This speaks volumes for the harmful effect of cigarettes.

Good hygiene is a very good tool to keep diseases distance away. It is essential that a person washes their hands regularly and stays away from contagious people. When coughing, one should always cover their mouth.

It is very advisable to constantly keep an eye on the condition of the food that is going to be eaten. If, for example, meat is underdone, it may lead to very bad consequences. The consumption of such staff, especially when it’s poultry, can cause severe vomiting and diarrhoea. Meat has to be always cooked well, and all the salads must be at least relatively fresh.When mixed with mayonnaise, vegetables can also develop harmful bacteria.
