Over the years, more and more government programs have been implemented, but even with good intentions some of these programs can cause confusion in the way they are handled. Healthcare is not any different. Currently, the government provides health care assistance to minors and the elderly but to those that currently fall in the middle age category there is little to no assistance from the government.

Over the years,If You're Not A Child Or Elderly Person- You're On Your Own Articles more and more government programs have been implemented, but even with good intentions some of these programs can cause confusion in the way they are handled. Healthcare is not any different. Currently, the government provides health care assistance to minors and the elderly but to those that currently fall in the middle age category there is little to no assistance from the government.

When you look at this it seems a bit ironic to say the least since it is those who are middle aged who are usually responsible for caring for elderly family members and those that are minors. This is an important thing to consider when you look at health care. By providing care for those at the beginning and the end of their lives but not anyone in between aren't they in fact creating more situations by which the government will have to pay out of their pocket?

I mean if you really think about it if you manage to keep these two groups of people well but the middle aged people die off aren't you in essence creating more people who will become wards of the state and completely reliant on the government for every aspect of their health and well being. And really what are the chances that these children who have health care but grow up as wards of the state because their parents have died because they didn't get the health care they need will ever be productive human beings.

While it is important to provide for children, wouldn't it be wiser in this poor economy to provide medical care assistance to those who are presently responsible for taking care of the children. The government should take care of those who are taking care of others because if they are incapable of doing so then the government will have a bigger burden than they anticipated.

It really makes a person wonder what the U.S. government is really up to. If you think about it most of the things that they do really don't make much sense and in the area of health care the lines really become blurry. Leaving the United States government in charge of regulating the entire country's health care is simply not a good plan. Who knows what the future holds for all Americans? It is a little scary to see what waits around the bend.
