Importance of Maintaining safety Measures at Work and Residence

It is the duty of every employer to provide appropriate medical facilities to its employees. Providing employees with good working conditions is one aspect of it. Organizations comply with health and safety requirements because they benefit the company in various respects. First of all complying with such regulations is necessary because it is required by law and if any non compliance is incurred it would result in paying of penalties and getting bad image and reputation for the company as a whole. Secondly, accidents are costly and they are bound to erupt both financial and non financial costs. If an accident is incurred at a workplace, it would disrupt the normal working or production thus resulting in operational losses. Further, the employee who got victim of an accident would need to be provided first aid and might also be needed to be shifted at a hospital which in turn incurs several sorts of expenses. If the accident causes some sort of damage to the machinery or equipment then there is also an associated costs for repairing and maintain the machine.
