Happy Monday Fit Fem'rs! I always like to start the week with some positive mindset chit chat. I can't even begin to describe how it important it is to think positively about yourself. I wanted to show you some tough love to really drive this notion home.

Like it or not,Like it or not, you are a Role Model Articles you are a role model.  How you carry yourself, how you look and feel greatly influences the people around you. This applies most specially to the younger members of your family such as your kids, younger siblings and relatives.  However, you can also be thought as a role model by your friends and colleagues your age.  Being a role model means that you are doing something good, and looking good while doing it.  Your overall appearance and aura affects other people.  You don't need to become a celebrity to be idolized.  Like it or not, you are a role model so make sure feel your best when you are looking to achieve weight loss.

You will always be someone to look up to in whatever you do and say. So be keen on how you speak, do and act. Let your innermost goodness guide you in every plan and life decision you will make.  Being good manifests to others, thus you will also receive all the good from your surroundings.  And is also so if you do the opposite.  So be the good role model for everyone and receive good things for yourself.  After all, like it or not, you are a role model.  So why not make it work for you?

As a fitness professional, I am scrutinized everyday…from how I carry myself while I teach or train, to how I talk to gym members and my personal training and health coaching clients, to how I dress…I have to be at my best 24-7. Can you imagine going to a trainer who's a Debbie downer, who dresses sloppy, who doesn't look at you and smile…how do you feel? Think about that when you are around other people. How do you carry yourself? How can you encourage others? By living up to your values and sticking to your commitment and goals.

My personal role mode is Jennifer Hudson; why? Well, after all that weight loss, she is positive and has remained to be humble (not snobbish or cocky) and she is true to herself. Who's your role model?

Being healthy and having the determination when it comes to weight loss has now become a necessity rather than a pastime – so make sure to have a weight loss goal.  If you have friends or loved ones who are not motivated enough to care for their health, now is the time for you to lead them towards a new, healthier life.  Be a role model when it comes to dedication and commitment towards weight loss and being fit and healthy.  Your efforts and dedication for weight loss will encourage others and they will thank you for the renewed opportunity towards better health.  Because for them, like it or not, you are a role model when it comes to weight loss.

Being a role model for weight loss does not mean that you have to be perfect.  As normal people, everyone is prone to make mistakes. Being brave enough to admit your mistakes and being responsible for it will enhance your impression among other people.  They will perceive you as a strong and brave individual. You can make strong people out of them too.  Because like it or not, you are a role model.

People are always looking for someone to look up to and you can be it.  You just have to be yourself, and do what's best for you and others.  Always look forward and continue to improve yourself.  Do not be hindered by mistakes and failures, as these would make you stronger.  In dealing with others, caring for your health and well-being and being ready for the future, you can always help yourself and others.  There will be people counting on you and you have the potential to make life better for yourself and others.  You can be a leader, a mentor and an icon; because like it or not, you are a role model… THE FIT FEM ROLE MODEL!!

Who will you affect and influence today?
