Keep It Raw Baby!
Your body also receives way more valuable nutrients in fruits and vegetables that are in their raw or living form, rather than in a cooked (yep - boiled, broiled, grilled, or sauteed) form! The National Cancer Institute, along with several other organizations, recommends getting at least 5 servings of fruits and vegetables a day - and that should be even more qualified to say raw/living for optimum benefits. Sadly, though, many people only get 1 ½ servings of any type of produce each day - eek!

Don't let this be you! It's just not worth it!

Get All You Need & More With Green Juicing!
This is another area juicing comes in handy. With juicing, you're able to get way more produce - especially those luscious greens - into your gorgeous bod than by eating them alone.

For example, look at my "The Daily" green juice recipe. In this recipe alone, which makes two servings, there are cucumbers, kale leaves, celery, broccoli, garlic cloves and fresh ginger!

According to the USDA, one serving of vegetables is typically the size of a deck of cards or baseball. This includes ½ cup of cut vegetables or 1 cup of raw leafy vegetables. You pretty much have all of your recommended servings of vegetables right there in that one simple recipe, not to mention the health benefits of the variety of vegetables in there!

Healthy Lifestyle For The Long Haul
Eating healthy and ensuring your body is getting the right amount of organic produce and the proper nutrients will support you in leading your most optimum life... no matter where you are on that journey. Even during my last five years of health challenges which includes 3 breast cancer diagnosis, 7 surgeries, over two years worth of physical therapy, and 2 months of radiation - my doctors are still amazed and happy at how I have quickly healed and functioned during all the various steps. I have worked out, participated in two 5K races, and maintained my personal yoga practice through the entire journey. One of my docs actually said that he has absolutely no doubt my lifestyle has supported me and contributed to my overall success.
