Massaging Muscles: How To Strengthen Your Massage Fingers

You can give a better and longer massage once you have strong fingers.

As a massage giver, you will notice you experience muscle pains after you gave someone a body massage. Well, this is normal for muscles that are used repeatedly for a duration of time. Therefore, getting a sore with these muscles is perfectly normal.

Actually, you know you can strengthen your massaging muscles using by performing these exercise. Sure, it is a long term thing, but one that is worth doing.

Walk the quarter coin

This is a finger exercise. You first balance a quarter coin on the thumb, with your palm facing you. Then you try to flip it over to your index finger. If you can do this, then repeat the same feat with the middle finger.

Fingers push up

Like the push up, you lay 2 of your fingers on the table. Then using the weight of your hands, push upwards and downwards so the movement resembles a push up exercise.

Squeeze grapes

This exercise can train your sense of touch. If you master this exercise, you will also master how much pressure to apply when massaging. How do you practice? Well, you simply grab the grapes and squeeze them until the skin is about to burst. This way, you can maintain the proper pressure using your fingers.

Lunges

You can do this with dumbbells if free weight is too easy for you. Lunges strengthen your hips and legs, preparing you for long hours of massage.

Dance

Enroll in a dance class. This is because you will be more aware of your body and become more capable of using more body parts when massaging.
