Most of us have a list of things to worry about and they range from economy, financial condition, work, friends, health, social life, lack of rest, politics, family, parents, spouse, and children. Which is the right way out of the lot? These thoughts can raise the anxiety levels of the mother. Mothers need to understand that they need no validation to the right way of dealing with the child.   2. The mother constantly worries about her child. She closely monitors the child’s actions and movements. In case there is a slight change in the daily routine of the child she gets worried if something is wrong with her child.
  3. Motherhood anxiety also includes “mommy guilt trips”. These include wondering whether she takes care of the child properly or spends enough time with him. The thoughts of not feeding the child properly, not being able to increase the weight of the child according to his developmental stage. There are hundreds of questions running through her mind and she constantly holds herself to task.
  4. The mother keeps comparing her upbringing methods to others . She feels loaded with feelings of being a poor wife, mother and homemaker. The mother always feels that others are better than her and can manage their homes and children better. The thought that other women are more attractive and better rested than her is constantly running through her mind. The comparison starts at looks, upbringing methods, celebratory moments, holidays and every other aspect of life. You are unique and need to remember that no one can be compared to you. You are unique in your own home and the best mom to your child.


Motherhood anxiety is a part of most women’s life and she wonders at how time is passing by and she will soon loose those “baby” moments with her child. A mother’s job is not easy and she has an immense amount to deal with. A woman with a calm and composed disposition will be able to deal with many anxious moments in her life.
