No medical exam life insurance is not a new type of insurance policy. But it is fast growing in popularity because it gives people who have been refused this type of coverage in the past to get life insurance.

Many insurers companies have recognised that there is a large market for people who have been refused life insurance in the past. There are a growing number of people who cannot meet the strict criteria that is set by a lot of life-insurance companies; the reason is because there are medical examinations that need to be passed. If someone has suffered from a serious condition in the past and needed hospital treatment or have a family history of a particular disease they may find themselves excluded from normal life insurance coverage.
