When will we men understand the fact that we need to look after our face as much as women do? Whenever somebody tells you that pampering your skin in any way is not a male attribute,Pamper Your Face Articles close your ears. In fact keep cotton balls handy or for that matter ear plugs. God has been very kind for gifting us with good skin. But how much do we value it? Womenfolk get all types of pampering done from salons as I mentioned in my first article. That’s why they end up looking so fresh even as they age. Whereas we start aging way before we actually do.

So it’s about time that you stop paying heed to what people say and start pampering your skin. It’s very easy. You don’t have to undertake painful regimens. You can do it at home. In my first two articles I had mentioned about face cleansers plus cleansing, toning and moisturizing (CTM). But that’s very basic. That is something you have to do and you have no choice. But there are many other tricks that can give you a glow of freshness and youth.

Steaming is one procedure which can really lend a touch of freshness to your face. Just boil water and put the steaming container on a table. Cover your face and the container with a cloth or towel so that the steam stays within it. Bring your face closer to the container. Keep it approximately a foot away and face the steam directly. It may seem uneasy in the first few moments but your face will get used to it. Keep your eyes closed. Stop after three minutes. It opens your pores, cleanses the deposits inside them and your face seems fresh. It rids you of blackheads.

Do it once a week. Scrubbing is also one thing which can really put a glow on your face. Before applying a face-wash, take a little bit of scrub from the tube and apply it all over your face. The movement of your fingertips should be circular and slightly harder than that when you apply a face-wash. Scrub for at least a minute or half and then rinse thoroughly. Use a scrub that suits your skin. Avoid getting it into eyes. Another thing that keeps your skin fresh and tightened is a peel-off mask. Use it after you have shaved and washed your face. Apply it evenly all over the face with your index finger. Avoid eye area and hairline. Try not to talk and laugh during the process. Let it dry which will take about 20 minutes, then peel off.
