You will find quite a few names for this ingredient that could pose a risk to your health or anyone else using these products, such as your baby. For baby products, the ingredient is usually a byproduct and not an added ingredient. This does not lower the risk or reduce the danger, however.

Try to find a line of products that do not use formaldehyde to eliminate bacteria growth. There are alternatives on the market so you can find everything you need with relative ease. With no regulation in the United States, however, it is difficult if you do not know where to look.
