The next few years will bring about some changes in the way healthcare is operating in the United States. There is much apprehension regarding this issue because it is unsure whether the changes are positive or negative and exactly what those changes will be. Like other programs adopted by the government such as welfare and Medicare, the problems aren't necessarily with the premise of the program but with the people who abuse the system.

Like other programs adopted by the government such as welfare and Medicare,Pitfalls Of New Health Care Reform Articles the problems aren't necessarily with the premise of the program but with the people who abuse the system.

Supposedly, there is a letter from a medical professional stating that many of those on Medicare and Medicaid are not truly needy people but people who are outright taking advantage of the system. They come to the emergency room with expensive clothing and electronic devices and yet they expect others to pay for their care. If you are on a tight budget you don't have money for these luxuries, at least that is the assumption.

There are many who genuinely need the assistance because they are physically or mentally incapable of working and desperately need medical care. People who take advantage of the system don't care how others are sacrificing so they can enjoy these benefits. The future of the United States Healthcare system is dismal for those who know they are working to provide benefits to those just thinking they are entitled to them.

It should be against the rules for people to blatantly abuse the system and use it to their advantage. Those who are in need of assistance should really be in need and not be aloud to use their money for their own personal gain. There are many Americans that are working hard to pay for their health insurance and many are even working two jobs to afford the premiums. When those people realize that they will be paying health insurance premiums for those who are toting around the latest cell phones and wearing a $200 pair of tennis shoes, they will definitely be resentful.

Somewhere along the line Americans have begun to feel entitled to the better things in life and even if they have to get someone else to pay for the necessities in their lives, they are going to find a way to get those new tech devices and designer clothes. Well, I don't think that anyone in America is complaining about helping those who are truly needy but unfortunately there really are only a small group of people who need help and the rest are simply bilking the system. And this is why so many are up in arms about the current health care proposal.
