Plastic Surgery - Popular Types and Popular Reasons

When you are considering plastic surgery do you know why you want it? Most people have the same thought in mind when they are wanting to do it, maybe it’s the same as yours.

Considering having “a little work done”? Well don’t worry you’re not alone. Plastic surgery is a popular way to correct some of the issues that you have with your body. Many women consider a cosmetic procedure at some point and time during their lifetimes. While some never go any further than thinking about it, some go ahead with the procedure. Which procedure they choose and their reasons, well, might not be all too different from what you’re considering.

Probably the most popular type of plastic surgery is the breast augmentation. It’s an obvious choice because many women are just not happy with the shape genetics gave them. It’s not a bad thing to want to have that look. Their reasons vary most popular though, is they are tired of being flat chested. There is a lot of “A” cup or smaller sizes out there and that can be pretty embarrassing. Other reasons include: “One was smaller than the other so I wanted them to be the same size” or “Finding clothes that fit right was difficult”. If you are less that blessed, low cut shirts really not worth buying and those types seem to be everywhere.

The next most popular plastic surgery is the nose job. Okay it has the fancy name of rhinoplasty but you all know what it is. The reasons are pretty straight forward “my nose is too big for my face.” A sad but true fact, there are lots of people out there whose nose just grew way too big for the symmetry of their face. Other reasons are “deviated septum” or “deformation”. This last one often concerns a bump or hump in the nose ridge somewhere. It can be embarrassing and can lead to a lot of hateful comments.

Popular plastic surgery number three is the liposuction. It’s not often thought of as that type of procedure but it really is. Let’s face it most people have considered liposuction before, right. Those pudgy places that just won’t go away no matter what you don’t eat or how much weight you use at the gym. By the way this is the biggest reason that people get liposuction. They’ve tried and tried to lose that pouch of fat and it just won’t go away. Liposuction takes care of it for them.

No matter what type of plastic surgery you’re considering your reason is your own. It doesn’t matter if you want it just because and have no other real good reason the important thing is that the reason is yours. You should never consider any of these (or other) procedures if you’re going to start off your reason with “so and so wants . . .”. Doing any change to your body because someone else wants you to is not the right reason to do it at all.
