Being pregnant is such a wonderful thing. This is what many people dream about from the time they realize that they can be a parent. Some have our children earlier, and some have our children late, but it is a eye opening experience for all. The only downfall is the rapid hormones that can drastically change your body within minutes, but there is absolutely nothing you can do, or can you?

Being pregnant is such a wonderful thing.  This is what many people dream about from the time they realize that they can be a parent. Some have our children earlier,Pregnancy Acne: What can you do? Articles and some have our children late, but it is a eye opening experience for all. The only downfall is the rapid hormones that can drastically change your body within minutes, but there is absolutely nothing you can do, or can you?

One of the most complained about affects of the pregnancy hormones going crazy is the acne that develops. Using chemicals while pregnant has been linked to a lot of infant syndromes and problems like low birth weight or lung development problems. So your only option for an acne treatment while pregnant is to use something that is all natural or organic, and for the health of yourself and your child, make sure the product is telling the truth.

In my research on all natural products, I have come across a number of different companies saying that they are organic. They blow up their advertisements with all natural, no chemicals added, etc. only for me to read the ingredient list and see that the product is chalk full of chemically synthetic additives, while there are other who live up to the organic and all natural standard. You have to be super careful, especially when pregnant. For a little push in the right direction, any acne treatment that Benzoyl Peroxide avoid at all costs. This ingredient is super dangerous for the pregnant as well as the not. An example of a great additive in acne treatments that is truly all natural is an ingredient by the name of Resveratrol. This element is derived from grapes and is perfectly safe for the human skin. Plus any acne treatment with this active ingredient and other all natural elements (Shea Butter, Aloe Vera, Coco Butter, etc) will be something that you may want to hold onto even when you are not with child anymore.  Acne during pregnancy can be treated, you just have to do a little research.

Be an acne treatment sleuth. Read all about ingredients that are involved in making an acne treatment work and double cross it with the material safety data sheet (MSDS). Read reviews online, but only read the ones that have customer comments or a real person who runs the site. This is how you know if it is a true blue review site, or just another company trying to sell you their products. Talk to your friends and family that have experienced the same problem you have. You will be surprised how many people have been through it and are willing to help you.

Although there is little you can do about your hormones running amuck in your body, you can make sure that they never hit the surface, especially on your face. Enjoy your pregnancy, because it only last nine months. It should be a time of rejoicing and loving feelings, not a time of being depressed about your acne. All natural acne treatments, good for women of all kinds.
