Inflammatory symptoms are greatly decreased when sugar, wheat, dairy products, soy and citrus fruits are removed from the daily meals.

Low intensity aerobic workout such as biking, swimming and walking are advised to rheumatoid arthritis patients. Exercises that build strength also can be performed on some days of the week. These workouts improve the quality of life with the disease by improving the extent of motion, flexibility and pain killing capabilities. It is advisable to do a five minutes warm-up before commencing the workout. You can do brisk walking thereby the blood will start flowing rapidly and lessen the incidents of trauma.
