When I was a little girl I was told that if you touch a frog or toad you would get warts. To make matters worse if the frog or toad urinated on your skin you would get warts. I have never liked frogs or toads and was kind of afraid of them. Of course, when you get older in science class you had to dissect frogs. I never asked the teacher if I touched the dead frog would I get warts. The reality is that is an, “Old Wives Tale”. Warts are contagious viruses.
