Banshee's supersonic powers will cause a loss of auditory sense, forcing all evildoers to a hearing center. Although, that is not the only reason patients visit.

One of the most powerful mutants from the Uncanny X-Men is Sean Cassidy,The X-Men's Banshee Can Send Any Villain to the Hearing Center Articles otherwise known as Banshee, a Marvel Comics superhero. Created by Roy Thomas and Werner Roth, two immensely huge icons in the realm surrounding Stan Lee, Banshee first appeared as an independent advisory councilman to the X-Men team, but would later join the full force. Sean Cassidy first appeared in 1967 in X-Men number 27, wielding mutant powers that enabled him to shriek a sonic blast. Banshee's sonic scream could easily kill any villain's auditory sense, resulting in a trip to the hearing center the next morning. Banshee's further powers enable him to generate psionic fields through audio vibrations, selective hearing, audio shielding, electronic jamming, micro bomb expertise and combat skills that he gained during his early time at INTERPOL. Banshee was also an avid country and western music fan. Banshee is so powerful that his shriek could also form massive vibrations, moving physical objects, breaking glass, or destroying large walls made of concrete or cement. Any losses suffered by foes or villains in terms of their audio responses would definitely need to get tested at their mutant lab's hearing center. Because he can also hover and then fly at the speed of sound, the chilling effects of Banshee's incredible scream can—and does—cause sufficient damage to many villainous mutants. Beyond mutants, Banshee was also able to jam much electronic scanning equipment by shrieking various audio frequencies and their power source. This came in handy when many of the X-Men needed to break computer systems, destroy identification barriers, jam surveillance equipment, or control various harmful devices. Because Banshee's lungs are of mutant caliber, he can generate massively high decibels while controlling their direction. This causes a sort of vertigo in his opponents, rending them useless or able to utilize their own mutant powers. Similar to the technologies than can be found in any hearing center, Banshee can even emit silent sound waves that bounce off of anything from eardrums or objects not easily seen in the dark—acting as a sort of high frequency radar. Had Banshee not given up his life in order to defeat the evil Horseman Abyss, he might have enjoyed retirement helping child mutants in Professor Xavier's own hearing center. Nevertheless, Banshee's mighty powers were strong enough to keep him a popular character with the X-Men franchise. Several actors have played Banshee in made for TV movies as well as in film. His character was drawn for a few episodes of the X-Men animated series and there have even been some re-writes for his character in later Marvel projects. His character was even the 100th figurine made in the Classic Marvel Figurine Series. His last comic book appearance was in the 2006 X-Men: Deadly Genesis series.
