Tummy Tuck: Mini To Be Skinny

Many people spend a lot of time and money exercising, eating right, and generally going to all of the necessary steps to get a thinner and trimmer body. These stitches are removed approximately a week after the surgery and this is often when people choose to return to work and may safely resume their normal activities. A noted benefit of the location of the suture is that it is often low enough to be easily obscured by even a bathing suit. This means no evidence that surgical intervention ever took place.

Often because of the outpatient nature of a mini tummy tuck people will be able to leave that day as long as they have someone to take care of them for the first couple of days. While the area is more amicable to healing than other surgery sites it still requires 24-48 hours of downtime to allow the wound to knit. Afterwards it is necessary to check in with the doctor to ensure that healing is moving along correctly but once it is completed the results will often last for a very long time. The short recovery time and general lack of invasiveness means that many people choose to combine their tummy tuck with other cosmetic procedures like liposuction to maximize the results. This is entirely optional and simply magnifies the beneficial results.
