However, there are few symptoms which are helpful in creating awareness and can be shown to the vulnerable people. Given below are some of the signs and symptoms of secondary bone cancer:

The three major symptoms of secondary bone cancer that occur during the initial stages are:
  • Persistent pain: there is a persistent pain in the bones. A person feels inner pain and stress in his bones. The occurrence of bone cancer is mainly found in the longer bones of the arms and the legs. The most affected parts are the hip, upper leg and the upper part of arms. Thus, if pain is being experienced in these parts, immediate care must be taken. Consultation of doctor is also required if necessary.
  • Another important symptom is the lump formation and swelling in some body parts. This leads to bone weakness. The bones are very probable and susceptible to the development of cancer cells in certain areas of the body. This will be according to the previous treatments undertaken as well as the weaknesses. Early treatment of the lumps and swelling must be taken. Sometimes the swellings indicate bone cancer very clearly. The joints and cartilages are affected by Chondrosarcoma and this may lead to swellings and lumps. Thus, a person should take proper care of such conditions.
  • Occurrence of general weakness and sudden fractures may also be the serious indications of bone cancer. These sudden occurrences are mainly due to the development of cancerous cells. Thus, one must immediately test himself for the presence of bone cancer.
  • Sometimes, tenderness in the bones is noticed and this is a candidate symptom. This is a very big risk factor. Thus, a person should get himself treated for the tenderness of bones. These symptoms are nothing more than probable indicators. However, the importance and seriousness of the disease must be taken into consideration.
