Ayurvedic Prescription for Piles


Kasisadi Taila –
It is meant for external application. The main constituent of Kasisadi Taila is iron sulphate which helps to control bleeding and bring relief from pain. It shrivels up the affected portion of piles and at the same time cures the itching sensation in the anal region.

Abhayarishta –
The main ingredient used in preparation of Abhyarishta is Haritaki. Patient is required to take 30 ml dose with equal amount of water and take it twice daily.

Nagakesara – It is prescribed for help in stopping the bleeding from the anal region. It is prepared by the flower of Nagakesara plant. The flower needs to be dried and made into a powder. Patients of dry as well as bleeding form of piles can benefit from this disease.

Ayurvedic Home Remedies for piles


1. Mixture of radish juice and ghee is a very good treatment for this condition. Mix a cupful of radish juice with around 5 gms of pure ghee. Stir well with a spoon. Repeat the dose in the morning and evening.
2. Mix jaggery and powdered ginger to half a glass of pomegranate juice. Drink this twice daily.
3. Make a concoction of half a glass pomegranate juice,What is the Ayurvedic Prescription for Piles Articles 2 tsp ginger juice, half a cup of buttermilk and 2 tsp jaggery. Consume this twice daily.
4. Roast 1 tsp of black cumin seeds. Mix them with another tsp of black cumin seeds and grind the mixture to fine powder. Drink this with half a glass of water daily.
5. Mix 2 Gms of Amaltas pith, hari makoya and prepare a paste by grinding. Apply this paste on the affected region of your body.
6. Mix 2 grams roasted powder of cumin seeds with 5 tulsi leaves and 2 grams of black salt. Grind them to make a fine homogeneous powder. Take an equal amount of kernal of wood apple and add it to the powder. Drink this combination with about 100 grams of curd to activate your slow performing liver.
7. Piles may have a lot to do with constipation. 1 tsp of Isabgol husk with warm milk helps to soften the stools and lead to smooth and painless passage.
8. Castor oil with milk or tea may also perform the same function.
