Tried everything? Have all the answers? Do you find that you are unique and that nothing anyone else recommends, ever works for you. Many people respond with “for God’s sake I don’t need any more information or facts, they just make me think, and it hurts to think.” Many people don’t want to take that responsibility for their lives. It’s easier blaming others and being a victim.

This is for all of those people who have tried everything,What You Don’t Know CAN Kill You! Articles have all the answers and find that they are unique and that nothing anyone else recommends, ever works for them. Many respond with “for God’s sake I don’t need any more information or facts, they just make me think, and it hurts to think.”

To gather information, process it and make a decision means taking responsibility for something – many people don’t want to take that responsibility for their lives. It’s easier blaming others and being a victim, even if it means not being able to get beyond a sickness, disease or some sort of condition.

We all know what we know (we might even be an expert in some subjects and still not know it all) (some people just think they know it all)

Most of us know what we don’t know (there are subjects which we can identify that we absolutely know nothing about) (for some it may be astrophysics)

We don’t know what we don’t know (new information being acquired every day that we haven’t heard about yet)(could be string theory)

We don’t know what we know (all that stuff buried in the sub-conscious) (habits that we perform without any thought)

It is this last one that normally holds us back. We started developing habits on the day we were born. These habits are so habitual, automatic and inborn that many times they stop us from starting anything new or accepting the fact that what we are doing may not be good for us.

The only time that change will take place in your life is when you get sick and tired of being sick and tired. That’s normally the time when a person decides that they don’t have all of the answers and makes a decision to allow more knowledge to come into their lives.

As a Holistic Health Practitioner, a majority of the people that come to see me are at the end of their rope. The medical community did not provide them the solutions to their problems and they are finally starting to branch out and seek alternative and/or complementary solutions. What they did in the past no longer works for them. They see others whose lives are happy, joyous, and pain free. They start to question the fact that if others can do it, why can’t they? The answer becomes: if you want a healthy pain-free life, then you have to do what healthy people living a pain-free life do. That means research.

The easy answers are: proper nutrition, proper rest, proper hydration, proper exercise, proper mental attitude, proper spiritual program, and a proper stress-reduction program. You’ve heard it all before. The doctors all talk about this STUFF. I know all about all of that STUFF but do you really?

Books are written about vitamins, minerals, amino acids, phyto-nutrients, essential fatty acids,  herbs, etc. We know that we should be getting 8 hours of sleep a night but we’re not for whatever the reason. Some of us know that we should drink an ounce of water for each two pounds we weigh. If you weigh 150 pounds you should be drinking 75 ounces of water daily. What is meant my proper exercise – I work hard every day…won’t that count? – nope.

Most people tell me that they have no control over what they are thinking. I happen not to believe them. They comment that they are very spiritual, that they believe in angels or whatever. If you don’t have a Higher Power working in your life, you’re missing out on a lot.

They say that “If you had to live with my (you fill in the blank), you’d be stressed, too.” It’s not the stressors in your life that cause the problems; it’s how you respond to the stressors. What tools are you using to reduce your stress?

If you continue to do what you’ve always done, you’ll continue to get what you’ve always got. If you are ready for a change, contact us and request the Wheel of Life evaluation tool.
