No matter what media outlet you are tuned into you will be subjected to the health care debate. A lot has happened and things have changed but it is still a hot topic for discussion. It seems like some people are so confused about what is going on with health care reform that they are not even sure what they are up in arms about. The question remains if it is actually nationalized health care and what the final cost to all of us will be.

One thing that no one is arguing about is that the system that we have currently is not a winner. It isn't working well for the people that are actually paying for their health insurance or for those that have it subsidized. One thing that we all want to happen is in the plan and that is getting better health care coverage. When it is all Americans getting this coverage there is no debate that it will cost a lot.

Everyone will have to pay something for the insurance coverage that they will be required to have. For those with low incomes they will get vouchers to help pay for the coverage. Because the current system is so dysfunctional it will not even have the funding to continue they way it is going because there will not be enough funds to pay for it in a few years. That is one reason why the government is stepping in.

While at first glance it may seem as if the government will have too much control over the system it is important to realize that without these changes and further changes experts say the health care system will crash and this is important to keep in mind as a little inconvenience now could save Americans many headaches down the road. Insurance may be on the rise but you are getting something for your increase in premiums.

If this plan does make it into reality it will mean that all Americans will have improved health care for one. If it all goes to plan then the health care system as a whole will become more stable and there will be less of a deficit. The bottom line is that here will be improvements as well as issues that won't be too popular. Changes can be pretty hard to deal with but are also a way to bring new good things.
