You Need a Diet for Acne If You Want to Get Rid of Your Acne Today

When you're suffering from acne, the last thing you want to do is further aggravate your skin.  But if you're buying prescription topical medications, that's likely exactly what you're doing.  Instead of adding to the probability of getting acne scars and further ruining your self esteem, I strongly recommend something known as a diet for acne.  This is something most doctor's won't even talk about and dermatologists won't even acknowledge, but hey, it worked for me, so it's likely to work for you, too.

Here's a few recommendations I use for my diet for acne that you will probably find helpful as well:

1. Vitamin supplements: Taking 50 mg of zinc and 1000 of vitamin c per day has really increased my body's ability to fight off acne.  It also helps it keep off colds and the flu, which is very helpful during this time of the year.

2. Fiber rich and vitamin c rich foods: It's time you also added some fiber to your diet.  In addition to the typical prunes and apples, blueberries, peaches, apricots, nectarines, oranges, and similar fruits also help.  You can add brown rice and multi grain breads as well to help assist in flushing your body of harmful acne toxins.

3. Diet for acne plan: You'll need a bit of an action plan before you just go pumping your body full of fiber and supplemental vitamins.  With a diet action plan, you'll have a much better idea of what foods you should stock in your pantry and how many supplements you'll really need to add to your daily routine.  This is a crucial step, so don't fail to include it in your acne elimination plan!
