Christmas is a time celebrated with family and friends,5 Steps to Creating a Christmas Time Capsule Articles a holiday marked with gatherings, religious ceremonies and comforting traditions. This year, preserve your holiday highlights and cherished moments in a time capsule that you and your family can revisit to enjoy and discover photos of your friends holiday celebrations.

Read on to find out how you can build a time capsule of your photos in 5 easy steps:

1) Get yourself a digital camera and place it in an accessible place in the house. When a camera is tucked up in your cupboard, you may not get up and take photos but when it is placed openly in the house, you and your family will take a lot more photos of your holiday celebrations.

2) Now that the camera is placed, ask all family members to take photos of the house, themselves, other family members whenever they get a chance. This could be photos of building a Christmas tree, decoration of the house or a gathering with your friends.

3) As Christmas comes near and you start going out with your family, take the camera with you and capture all the moments that you can. Whether it is your kids singing carols or Santa distributing goodies, you don't want to miss any of those precious memories.

4) When Christmas celebrations are over, take a breather and transfer photos to your computer. Use a photo processing software like picasa to choose the photos that came out well and do some post-processing to enhance them. This is simpler and faster than you think.

5) Create an account at a photo sharing site like lifeblob.com and upload your photo albums there. Keep your albums public if you want everyone to see it or list out the email id of people you want to be able to see your photos when you create the album. If you choose picasa for post-processing your photos, you can also install the "lifeblob picasa button" to upload your photos. When you upload your photos to lifeblob, it will automatically put them on a timeline and presto, your time capsule is ready to go!
