About radio control car motor and engine

The radio control car engine is complex. The engine break-in is required for brand-new engines. If not done properly, could cause permanent damage to the motor.

Every radio control car is quite a complex machine. Thus, it has a magnificent performance without a doubt. You can adjust speed and settings easily. To begin with, you must:

1 - Start the engine using a starter box or igniter.

2 - Place the car at a high level by preventing the wheels touch the ground.

3 - Slowly increase the gas and make sure that the rotation of the wheels and the brakes work.

4 - Running the engine. Start slowly for 5 minutes. After these minutes let it cool stop repeating this process for a full tank of fuel, eating after the first deposit, start running the car at low speed.

After each radio control car fuel tank is full, try to tighten the needle valve 10 º or 20 º. Check the temperature of the motor during this process. They need to keep the engine temperature slowly to 90 ° C approximately. Make sure you have a lot of smoke coming out the exhaust pipe. During this process may need to adjust the valves as discussed below, adjust the needle valve

to the position open as possible to allow us to keep the engine running. The idle should be set sufficiently open to prevent an engine issue.

RC Motor Set

The needle regulates the fuel-air ratio at all positions of the rotor, but it fits with the engine at high RPM. Start the engine and accelerate the radio control car until the engine reaches operating temperature. When the needle is pressed 10 º - 20 º, the speed increases, as the car reaches the maximum speed setting is optimal. Tightening the needle beyond may cause a decrease in engine speed and exhaust fumes.

Running with this setting (too poor) can cause engine damage. Unscrew stop this immediately observe normal operating unscrews 10 - 20 for optimum performance is between 90 º C and 110 ° C. If we close (to a certain limit), the radio control car engine responds more quickly, more power and acceleration. But also poorest workers, i.e. a mixture with a higher proportion of air fuel will therefore be worse lubricated and cooled, causing it a very significant increase in wear, and may even merge into one fast.

It is therefore advisable to always keep the two carburetor needles as open as possible, as long as the radio control car engine is not too muffled to malfunction.
