An overwhelming and purely honored start for Indians after over a
decade, as our very glorious stars Mr. AR Rahman and Shweta Pandit took
the stage at one of the world's very famed prestigious event of "Nobel
Peace Prize" concert held in Norway.
It was a star studded event blessed with renowned and great personalities like Oscar winning actor Denzel Washington and magnificent actress Anne Hathaway. The idol of many music lovers, AR Rahman’s musical spell was magically brilliant as he performed on ‘Jai Ho!’ and ‘Mausam Instrumental’ – songs from the Oscar winning movie Slumdog Millionaire. The former song Jai Ho was played along with Filmfare award-winning singer Shweta Pandit.
Music Maestro AR Rahman is respectfully regarded as Sir by sensational singer Shweta Pandit. She was praising Rahman and delineated him as the Indian legend and her “music guru and inspiration". To express her gratified feelings Ms Pandit tweeted on Twitter that she is so much thankful to Mr. Rahman and God for rendering her the opportunity to share the prestigious stage with few awesome international celebrities at such a great annual event.
Beautiful and charming Anne Hathaway surprised each one present their by appearing at Nobel Peace Prize concert. Graceful and elegant as described by Shweta Pandit, Anne loves Bollywood she really quips her desire to lip-synch to Miss Pandit's songs one day.
Overall the Nobel Peace Prize Concert is the most ambitious, distinguished and very unique annual event in the world. And we the Indians are greatly proud by the presence of Indian composer AR Rahman and Filmfare award winner Shweta Pandit; the duo filled the spirits of delight in our hearts by representing the country at such a prestigious concert.
