The John Deere brand is one of the most recognizable brands around the world. Even kids from a small age know the colors and what a Deere tractor looks like! And since kids love heavy-duty machinery and have books read to them about these pieces of equipment it's no wonder that a John Deere birthday party is a very popular and fun theme for your child!

A party such as this can be organized in many different ways whether you want to concentrate solely on the brand or if you'd like to concentrate on the farming,Creating a Heavy Duty John Deere Birthday Party Articles heavy duty machinery or even construction. Choosing your theme will help narrow down the decorations, party favours, tableware, birthday cake, etc...

Here are a few ideas to help plan your birthday party.

One of the first things to consider are the decorations. Are you going to choose the John Deere colors which are yellow and green? If so then we recommend lots of green and yellow balloons, streamers and ribbon. You can add a few official party supplies, yes, John Deere has licensed party supplies, to your party. This could include a tractor pinata or a John Deere wall decal. Each of these store bought decorations can help augment the homemade decorations which can help you save money.

A simple and effective homemade decoration is a ceiling dangler which hangs from the roof. Simply take a picture from the internet which can be a tractor, lawnmower, combine or even the John Deere brand logo. Print that image on paper and glue to a yellow piece of card-stock. Next, using a green piece of card-stock cut a spiral approximately 1 inch wide. It doesn't have to be perfect as it'll be hung from the ceiling it just needs to be able to unfold. Next, glue and/or staple the picture to the end of the spiral and attach to the roof. The decoration should hang down approximately a foot depending on the spiral size. If you add 3-5 of these around the room it'll definitely create a dramatic look!

Remember, a John Deere party, as with all kids parties, is to make it all about the kids. This is especially important with the activities and food. You don't want to be serving food that the kids won't eat as they'll end up being hungry and grumpy. You also don't want to choose games that are either too advanced for the kids or too easy. The easiest way to curb most of these problems is having lots of different choices for the kids! This could range from create-your-own pizza to hamburgers and hotdogs. For party games you can have games that even the older kids will enjoy like riding a tricycle or playing pin the tail on the donkey (with more spins for the older kids).

After the decorations are set you'll need to consider all the other important factors of the party. This includes the invitations, party favours, birthday cake, thank you cards, tableware and party games.
