Finding Good Copy Xbox Games Software

During my last two years in college, I lived with four other guys in a small apartment near the school. We had one Xbox system that belonged to one of the other guys, and we'd all take turns using it, usually on a first come first serve basis. We all paid for out own favorite games. None of us took very good care of the games, often leaving the game disks in the console when we were done playing. When someone else wanted to play their favorite game, they'd take out whichever one was in the console and toss on the table or on the carpet next to the Xbox console. Needless to say, our carelessness damaged most of our games before we could master them. I actually had to buy my favorite game a total of three times. When I bought the third copy, I figured that there had to be a better way to safeguard my games other than repurchasing them. I finally found the way, a good copy Xbox games software application.

I made the mistake that many gamers make when they are desperate to backup their Xbox games, and bought the first Xbox game copy software application that I found on the Internet. It didn't work. I never could make a good backup game disk using that software. I'd like to be able to say that I investigated and found an excellent Xbox game copying software application, but actually I was simply lucky enough to talk to a fellow gamer who had used an application successfully, and I bought a copy of the same software.

Apparently, traditional disk copying software that is used to copy music and videos will not work for copying games. The Xbox game developers include some sort of copy protection code in their games that makes it impossible to make a playable copy of Xbox games using the traditional software. The software is easy to use, but I'm one of those types that need to understand exactly how something will work before I use it. There was an online step-by-step tutorial explaining the entire process. It even recommended what type of DVD blanks to buy. If I had run into any problems with copying games or playing the backup copies, the website offered an email help service to answer any questions. Fortunately, I never had a problem, but it's nice to know that help was available. Most of the good companies that make game copying software will offer tutorials and email help.

Now that I have a good copy Xbox games software application, I make backup copies of new games as soon as I get them home. I store the original game disks and play the backup copies. It's comforting to know that I'll never have to worry about losing or damaging a favorite game disk. I'll always have the pristine original games to use for making new backup copies when I need to.
