Take into consideration the appearance of the rifle scope you intend to buy. Generally manufacturers display images of the products from different angles so that buyers get an overall view.   With the help of the images you can easily recognize the authentic one and thus you can’t have a fake scope.

Compare the prices, the fake ones will be absurdly cheaper than the original ones.     The difference in price should seem reasonable.  There are huge differences in the fake rifle scopes and the real ones and the most important one is the price. The fake may last for the longer times but they are not of good quality like the real ones.
