For anyone who has ever played Super Metroid you probably received one of three endings after beating the game. The endings are earned by how long it takes you to complete the game. The first ending is Samus Aran in full armor giving you a thumbs up. You receive this ending if it takes you more than 10 hours to complete the game. This is the ending you will most likely receive if it's your first time beating the game. The next ending is if you complete the game in between 3-10 hours. Samus Aran has another head piece under the helmet and another layer of armor. It is not as rewarding as the real ending but it's still a feat completing the game between 3-10 hours. Now if you want to see the real ending with Samus Aran in a Bathing Suit you must beat the game in less than 3 hours. To get this ending you must know the ins and outs of this game and not do anything extra besides following the storyline. Please note that all these endings are extremely cheesy because the Super Nintendo is only a 16-bit system. All metroid games have endings featuring Samus Aran in a bathing suit. The most popular ending of Samus Aran in a bathing suit that was featured in a early 90's edition of Nintendo Power was Super Metroid. They are all achieved by completing a time challenge of sorts. The Original Metroid for Nintendo allows you to play a second quest as Samus Aran in a bathing suit if you beat the game fast enough. But the Original Metroid had passwords instead of save slots making it a challenge to do anything correctly. This is why Super Metroid was the most note worthy Metroid game to feature Samus Aran in a bathing suit because it was also featured in Nintendo Power when the game was released.
