1. Let the model fill the scene

2. Keep the eyes in one third of the place

5. Make use of the line

Brick wall is perfect background for portrait photography. The line of the wall increases a lot of interest, but also it can distract the attention to the subjects. Remember that any "line" that extends the scene and points to the subjects is very powerful.

6. Change the photographing angle

Sometimes if you want to eliminate distracting things, what you need to do is simply change the angle of the camera. In order to get the best angle, you should try to change the angle of the camera and model. Regularly move left or right, or high or low, you can shield off the distracting branch or telegraph pole completely.
