We all have our own reasons to want to make money online. It might be that you have not received a pay rise for years (and everything is getting more expensive). Others,3 Reasons Why Most People Fail With Their Online Business Articles for no fault of their own, have lost their job in this tough economy. Or it might be that you are getting fed up with the daily grind of working for somebody else and that you want some financial freedom.
Unfortunately, a lot of people enter the online business world and get completely overwhelmed with all the jargon and seemingly endless list of tasks and things that you need to do to get an online business actually working and generating income. Sometimes there seems to be a mountain of obstacles to climb - from understanding search engine optimisation to blogging, from pay per click advertising to social media marketing, from finding the right products to sell to finding customers to buy them, the list goes on...
Fundamentally, there are three basic reasons why most people never succeed online:
  1. Outdated training
  2. Being surrounded by an environment of negativity
  3. Lack of the right marketing tools

How can a new or struggling entrepreneur get over these problems?
Firstly, you need to get access to regular marketing and business training from experienced and knowledgeable 'mentors' or experts - so your knowledge is always current and can never go out of date. There are several online training programmes available.
Second, spend time in forums, online communities and chat rooms of like minded entrepreneurs. This means you can escape any negativity of your home or work and gain support from new friends and experts with an incentive make sure you succeed online!
Thirdly, ensure that you have easy to use website format that you can change and update easily, an efficient auto-responder system and an established marketing plan to build your list and channel prospects into your pre-built 'sales funnel'.
Some online entrepreneurs may disagree with these points and say that they have started up an online business with no training, no support and no marketing knowledge. Well, it is worth remembering another old cliche "Carry on what you're doing and you'll carry on getting what you've got". The online business world is always changing and old business tactics do need to be updated - after all, who would have thought ten years ago about the influence that social media has today?
So, if you are happy that your online business can survive with outdating training, no support and the lack of the right marketing tools that's great news. Why? Because it will allow online entrepreneurs, who have all the right elements in place, to become more successful.
