As a designer, you continuously have to be on the move, and if you are a female designer, then things get even more challenging.  A designer’s main area of work involves drawing up houses. So for that, you need to meet new clients regularly who want to hire a designer to build them a custom new home according to the needs of the customer right from the beginning to the end.

The blueprints created by the designer can be made using various computer programs. A designer has to pay a close attention to the details for building a new house right from the beginning. The design has to be thought out from every aspect, i.e. from 2D, 3D upside down and backwards to draw the house from scratch.

Upon the finalization of the basic design is done by the home builder, then the fun part in the life of a designer begins. Because now it is their job to add all the detailed work like walls, windows, doors, fireplaces, kitchen, bathrooms and many more which not only give shape to the house but are the elements that make it look pretty. It indeed provides the client with a virtual tour of the house that they will be living in. This aspect is most important because it kind of finalizes the house, and if any change is to be made, this is the most comfortable stage to do so because riping a virtual wall or room is much easier than the actual ones.  So it is a crucial step to get the best part right on the paper before the house starts to take shape.

Once the client signs the contract and a green signal is shown regarding the design of the house, the designer will then also finalize the electrical and lighting plans, the roof plans and the front elevation. He/ she also finalize the type of flooring, storage spaces, various fixtures, faucets, countertops and all other things. They also need to focus on a different design for separate rooms so that no room appears to be the same. Each room is designed with respective lightings, separate roof plans, separate fitting, separate flooring and even different bathroom designs.

The designer also has to make sure that while designing the house, they enquire about the purpose of the house and design accordingly. Besides the purpose of the house, the designers need to make sure that they don’t get carried away with overcomplicating design. A standard rule is that the house should be simple and well designed.

Along with this, they also maintain a regular check with the clients in regards to the amount of progress so that the house is in liking to the clients. Besides being a designer, the developers also have their own private life which along with this entire burden. They also have to manage their laundry and then lay out their clothes for work. Therefore, working full time, especially for moms, is not a joke and requires great dedication.
