I admit to spending a lot of time and money chasing the dream of instant success and profit by working from home. I decided to pursue Internet affiliate marketing as this seemed to be a proven income stream with many sites promising fantastic profits. Does my situation a few months ago match your situation now? This article is about giving some advice,Home based affiliate Marketing – Be Realistic and don’t get scammed Articles to both avoid the scams and to have a dose of reality as to what you can expect to earn and how much effort you will need to put in. To start with avoiding the scams, there are so many scam sites out there offering the dream of working from home, making thousands of dollars/pounds every week, some promise thousands of pounds every day!...Please, steer clear of these sites if only for the reason that they are so unrealistic in what they promise. I joined probably in the region of 30+ sites and I would say 70% of them are useless. Please remember the following before deciding to join ‘make money from home’ site.

-          If it sounds too good to be true then  it is too good to be true

-          Any site that promises a profit within a couple of days should be avoided

-          Do your research on the site in question before joining it, use  a search engine and type the name of the site followed by scam and see what comes up.

So how much effort do you need to really put in to be successful in affiliate Marketing and be able to work from home, make money on the web and really improve your lifestyle? Well, I will use myself as an example. I have average computer skills, no website design skills and had no experience in internet affiliate marketing. It took me a couple of week’s solid work, 8 hour days, to get to the stage when I had two websites online, indexed and generating some traffic. It took a month to increase traffic and gain my first commission. Over the next Month I created some more affiliate websites with the experience I had already gained and things went quicker. Now, 6 months down the line I have six websites marketing various products and generating a fairly healthy income of over £3000 per month. I am now working from home full time and earning slightly more than I did working from the office but each week my earnings grow as the potential is limitless, I could sit back and do about one day’s work a week and still earn what I am earning but you will get the bug and want to earn more and more. In short, work hard, expect a few months before you get the excitement of getting some regular commission checks sent to you and learn as much as you can.

Hopefully this has help set you expectation on what can be achieved. As I said before, I got scammed, I wasted money and time but I now know the sites to avoid and the sites that work and offer great advice and resources to allow everyone, no matter what you’re technical computer/internet experience to live the dream of Working from home. Please check the very quick and easy site I put together where I list my four favourite working from home products. I joined them all and benefited from them all. Good Luck.
