This is the story of how a simple desire for a luxury car led to a successful online teaching venture, generating $68,000 in revenue. It's a tale of passion, determination, and the power of intention, demonstrating how a clear goal can drive innovation and success.
One day, I found myself captivated by a BMW Z3 on a delivery truck. This wasn't just any car; it was a roadster, a hot-rod, a piece of machinery that stirred something within me. I knew I wanted it, but I also knew that BMWs come with a hefty price tag.
Initially, I tried to win the car by entering two contests where Z3s were the grand prizes. Despite my confidence, I didn't win. It was clear that I needed to take control of my destiny.
I decided to buy the car outright, using the principles from my book, "Spiritual Marketing," to manifest my desire. I set an intention, a powerful step in the Spiritual Marketing process, and began to act on the opportunities that came my way.
The idea of hosting a seminar based on my book came to me. However, the costs and effort associated with a physical seminar were daunting. That's when I had a breakthrough: why not hold the seminar online?
I decided to offer a "Spiritual Marketing" e-class to my email list. The class would be conducted entirely via email, with weekly lessons and assignments. It was a neat, convenient solution that required minimal investment.
Determining the price for the e-class was a challenge. Most e-classes were either free or charged minimal fees. However, I wanted a BMW Z3, which cost between $30,000 and $40,000. I decided to charge $1,500 per person, aiming for 15 students.
To my delight, 16 people signed up for the class, and only one dropped out, leaving me with 15 students and $22,500 in revenue.
Encouraged by the success of my first e-class, I launched more classes on different topics, each time charging $1,500 per person. The revenue from these classes allowed me to buy my dream car and a country estate.
In the end, I got my 1999 Montreal Blue BMW Z3, a testament to the power of intention and the potential of e-classes as a revenue stream.
Why Encourage People?
Win taught me that whatever you focus on expands. This was long before the movie The Secret or before the Law of Attraction hit mainstream media. Win called it the first law of psychology. Whatever you focus on will expand. The Unparalleled Influence of "The Book of est"
In the vast sea of self-help literature, one book stands out as a transformative powerhouse: "The Book of est." This lesser-known tome has not only reshaped my perspective but has also left an indelible mark on the lives of countless readers. It's a book that eclipses even the most renowned titles like "Think and Grow Rich," and for some, it holds a more profound impact than religious texts such as the Bible. This is a bold claim, but it's rooted in the profound personal transformations that "The Book of est" has catalyzed.Attracting Harry Potter's Magic Guitar
These days I love attracting guitars and playing guitars. I'm fortunate enough to know musicians as well as guitar teachers. Weekly lessons with Guitar Monk Mathew Dixon are a blast. Talking music with guitarist Pat O'Bryan is always enlightening. And meeting luthiers (guitar makers) is also educational and inspiring. (Pic's of Pat and me.*)
