How Start an Affiliate Money-Making Business Online

I had just been laid off from my job selling internet advertising to businesses, when the thought occurred to me that by starting my own company, the profits would be mine, not my employer's. What an idea. I had thought about owning my own business my entire life--especially when working long hours and getting paid peanuts. I just never had the understanding or the courage to make the leap to self-employment.

What changed? I started doing some research into business ideas. The ones that appealed to me were online. I needed a money-making business that included these 7 factors:

1. Shoestring operating budget.
2. The most profitable and proven online business idea.
3. Someone to design my website (Because I had no idea how to build one.)
4. Web-hosting company (To place my website on the World Wide Web.)
5. Products to sell that I did not have to warehouse.

I found a staggering amount of online companies claiming to make you rich overnight by purchasing their secret formula. There were just too many options to choose from. Since I was jobless and had plenty of time, I began to filter through the sea of swindlers by running multiple searches on each company for negative feedback. This is how I determined who was legitimate and who was not.

Next, I had to decide on which money-making business idea was the most appealing. They range from work-at-home jobs to commodities and money exchange to affiliate and multi-level affiliate marketing ventures. These were the big ones. But for the 7 factors that I was looking for in an online business, multi-level affiliate marketing was the best choice. The reason? In other words, you sell someone else's products and when they buy through you, a commission or profit is earned. So your job is to market your own website or a link they provide for you-which gives you the credit for the sale and ensures you a piece of the pie.

After learning as much as possible on affiliate marketing, I found several of these programs available for people to make money quite easily.  A lot of companies will let you market their products for them. This is just more money and profits for them. I was looking for a company that would put a package together for me with several different products within a theme-based website. Did you catch that?
