Now here is a topic you WON'T see everyday because many people
are either embarrassed to talk about it or don't want to admit
the truth about themselves.

Can your family actually be jealous of an inanimate object?
Well sure,Is Your Family Jealous Of Your PC Business? Articles look how many people complain that:

You spend too much time on that tv?
Why don't you just marry the tv !!
You are always working on that car, you love that car more than
me!!

Yada, Yada, you get the idea.

We may have all at one point in time said one of those words,
so why should this be any different for the computer.

With the computer, you can do so much with it, whether you are
operating a business or not, the possibilities are endless, so
therefore a lot of time can be spent on the computer and you
may not even realize it.

Remember when the internet first became popular, and the news
would talk a lot about how many people spent so much time
getting "hooked" that their marriages, and family relationships
were suffering.

Employers had to put out tons of memo's and new rules regarding
employee use of the internet on Company time.

How many times when you were bored at work did you find
Something to do online. Check your email, play a game, surf and
shop, etc.

The plain and very simple fact is that the net is very
addictive, I can easily have my mind set to take care of one
task on the computer, and next thing you know an idea pops up
to surf, and by that time a few hours have passed...
Now what was I supposed to do in the first place??

It is almost human nature to worry about these things, but it
doesn't have to be this way.

Just as how you can have a good friend that you spend a lot of
time with and maybe a spouse gets jealous, the same can happen
with a computer.

Of Course, I am not just talking about spouses, the children
can have those same feelings.

If your child needs some help with homework or something in
general but you are always putting it off because you have to
do something on the computer, those feelings can erupt.
Anytime you are not trying to balance your daily tasks, then
this can be a problem

Just because YOU have a computer now doesn't mean that you are
now Information KING /QUEEN almighty.

There are still some things that the computer can't teach us...
If your family absolutely cannot handle the amount of time you
spend online and they resent everything about it, then that is
time for extra help, a counselor of some sort of any
professional that you can find to help find out why it seems
like they are not happy when you try to be happy.

If they don't care what you do online, but are there to ask you
how much money you have in Paypal, then its time to get them
more interested in YOUR business.

Incorporate all the benefits of your business to them, let them
know of any and ALL parts of your business that your family may
want to know about.

"Well you know now that I have my own business, then we can
deduct this and that on our taxes"

"Well you know now that I have my own business, we may be able
to qualify for items at a wholesale price"

"Well you know now that I have my own business, my new client
can give you a great discount on their product since they love
my work"

Sell yourself and your business, use common sense and you can't
go wrong.

What If You Are At Fault?

So what if you are creating the jealous tendencies and don't
even realize or can't see the warning signs.
Do you treat your pc better than you do some of your friends
and relatives?

Do you go into a fit when someone else is on your pc?
Do you feel that the pc is what saves you from going crazy one
day ?

If the pc breaks down, do you go into depression and withdrawal
periods until it is fixed?

Now while many of us love our pc's, and we act as if a part of
us is missing if the pc is down, do you get so focused on the
computer that you forget that there is a life around you, you
know the life you had before you got on the computer.

So What Can You Do About It?

If you are not one who is wasting time on the computer or
intentionally putting everyone on the back burner so you can
work, then here are some tips that may help your situation:

Introduce them to the Computer.

Sounds crazy, but a lot of people are afraid of new technology
and they think nothing but negative thoughts on the subject.
Many of us have relatives who have never been near a computer
and don't know how it works, well let them know it is not some
as scary as you thought. Let them know all you are trying to do
is make money like everyone else, but in a modern way as
opposed to the old way of clocking in at 9, and clocking out at
5.

Set A Time Limit For Pc Use

Yes we need to spend as much time as possible our first few
years on the computer, but when you have a family at home, you
HAVE to set some sort of limit or when you are making all that
money, no one will be around to see it.

It's A Machine, Not A Person

So don't treat it as such. If Someone offers some information
to you, don't run and say " Well the internet told me such and
such on the subject and you are wrong"

Remember there is wrong information on the computer too.
You ever know some people who treat their pets better than
humans, well don't fall victim to any of it.

Let the Fears Go, Some people are afraid to even turn off their
computer... as if they are going to miss some huge important
email..

Let It Go Before You Drive Yourself Crazy...

Smell The Roses

No, you don't have to read your local paper online, you can
still have it delivered to your door.

No, you don't have to watch your favorite programs online, you
can still go to the television.

No, you don't have to buy everything online, the stores are
still out there and are still making tons of money from people
who walk in there every day.

We Love Technology but ask anyone who like myself, spends
plenty of time every day online, we all miss the simple things
in life.

So Get Up and Go Outside and Remember What Fresh Air Smells
Like.

Take a break from worrying about email filters, or your
conversion rate, or your search engine rankings, just
breathe.....
