Living in an Apartment

Apartments are a unique experience. They aren't a dormitory, they aren't your parent's house, and they aren't your own place. Staying in an apartment will give you new, good, new experiences you can never have happen anywhere else. Some of them great, some of them substandard. Below are just a few of the off-the-map apartment experiences you might run into.

Having to stay far far away from your room. A common lifestyle that normal other residents don't deal with is that often times, you don't have a certain parking spot, or if you do, only 1. You may have to walk far away at times just to get to your apartment. The great news is you get a good workout. The unfortunate news is there is no convenience that you get the luxury of.

Having 3 direct neighbors. Handling with one or two neighbors can be an issue, but when you have to be cognizant of several neighbors who will be directly changed by your habits, there is a new amount of stress involved.

Security. A plethora of all rentals will have on-duty security, something your house probably won't. So although there may seem to be more strange individuals and strange people lounging around apartments, there is also the comforting feeling that comes with realizing a security guard is a few steps away.

Mixed crowd. On the standard, areas will have a "flavor";, as familiar money streams will seduce a normal type of people. In apartments, you get a bigger diversity, as cash isn't always the main value adding factor. Location, age, duration in a location are all things that impact who will end up staying near you, and generally, your home will have a big assortment of citizens.

These are only a small amount of the different characteristics apartments maintain. Some are good, some aren't, depending on who you ask. But no matter the variety, all of these characteristics inform and define your six plus months in an apartment.
