There are many printer models in the market and some of them offer very good features and prices but there are also those that are cheap and have similar features that other more expensive brands offer.  Printer prices have steadily declined because of the newer models that have been steadily released in the market. With the newer printers there are new features being introduced but most people have no use with some of the features making it a waste to invest in those printers.

The need for a good printer is very important which is why there are many people who prefer to buy older models which have been proven to be reliable and deliver excellent prints at a lower cost. The prices for the older models are significantly lower than the new models and this would be a very good investment because of the little difference in the features being offered and of the huge gap in the prices. Some of the features are not that useful to most people and when this is used in an office, the basic printing features are being used which would not fully utilize the capabilities of the printer.

People have become so price conscious because of the financial crisis that they have felt over the years and some of them are still hesitant to invest in something that cost higher. Having a cheaper printer would ensure that you would get the best out of the money that you have paid  and would also be a smaller amount to lose in case this would break down due to frequent use. Having a cheap printer does not mean that you would sacrifice the features that you need for the price. There are many printers that have good and useful features at a much lower price than other printers with the same capabilities.

Features are important but if these are not really useful then it would be a waste of money to invest on it. Finding basic printers that can offer the needed printing capabilities is more important than investing in features that you may or may not use in the future. Maybe by the time that you would have a need for those features the printers has already broken down and has become obsolete.
