Gas heaters are major source for heating water.

Gas heaters are extremely important especially during the winter months. In the United States,Understanding Home Heaters and its types Articles aside from gas heaters, most Americans use oil heaters, boilers or the good old-fashioned fireplace or the combination of each type of heating systems. However, most homeowners have heating systems installed in their houses which are only regulated and controlled by only one thermostat. This means that the whole house, even in other areas which heating is not that needed, are all heated at the same time and at the same temperature. One may only use the bedroom, but has to heat up the whole house, rather than just the room. This will considerably increase monthly electricity bills which can really hurt one's budget.
Because of this problem, homeowners opt to using electric heaters to individually heat rooms when needed. This can drastically lower electric bills as one has direct control on increasing and decreasing temperature. This type of heating system is called "zone controlled" of which electric wall heaters are very much preferred. One can easily turn it on when used and off when not in use, which can easily help people save money on utility bills. This system can also be upgraded, as one can use a digital thermostat which can be programmed to turn the heaters on and off automatically at specific periods of time. An example is setting the heater on at night and shutting it off in the morning. Anyone can easily lessen bills and increase the use of electrical devices in everyday life.
Electric wall heaters are an effective way to efficiently using heaters and still minimize cost in bills. Compared to oil and gas heaters, electric heaters have "plug-in" capabilities which make it highly efficient in different kinds of houses and buildings, ranging from large edifices to a small, humble house. Electric heaters work by the heating up nickel or chromium alloys with the use of an electric current. The heat produced can be distributed by fans as it spreads hot air into the room. Heating systems using fan forced heaters generally heat up the room quicker compared to heating systems without fans. The only downside when using fans in heaters is its noise due to its moving parts. There are other "silent" heaters available, which can be easily installed in one's home. An example is a convection heater, which uses natural air currents to circulate the heat throughout the room without using fans.
