Clothes define your personality; hence,What wardrobes need more than just “outfits”? Articles it is essential to keep your wardrobe smart every time. A well-planned closet doesn’t mean you spend top dollars to fill it to the brim, but to arrange your belongings slowly in a versatile manner. Any self-aware human being would be proud of having over-the-top clothing and accessories in his/her wardrobe.

But when we talk about the term under consideration, we have to accept that it is more than a mere ‘outfit storage space’. A smart closet must have all the wardrobe essentials including casual attires, formal attires, wallets, different varieties of shoes, jewellery pieces, etc. In a nutshell, all the everyday wear and tear stuff.

Start with one or two items every month as getting a classy cupboard isn’t easy. Go easy in filling the rooms. Buy the stuff, which is of utmost need. Don't rush as you won't become a fashionista in a matter of days. Also, do not pamper yourself for extravagant things, which you don’t need. Stop by a stable shop.

Here’s how you can plan and construct your wardrobe in a versatile manner.

  1. Upgrade your wardrobe with a sleek new wallet: A “must-in” stuff in the chest drawer of your closet is a sleek and simple business wallet. Replace it with brand new doubles which can be used as the casual clutch as well.
  2. Black is evergreen: Black is the definition of class. From socks to cotton shirts, denim pants to single-soul heels, almost half of your cupboard must have black in there. Whether you are getting late for a business meeting or for a night out fun, a wardrobe with full of blacks won’t make you late.
  3. Delicate Jewellery- Bingo: Ladies, buck up and start adding glamour to your makeup compartments. Shop a gold thin line necklace with a pave pendant. You can wear it every day, and it will enhance the classic touch of your wardrobe instantly.
  4. A perfect blazer: Let your hangers relish the taste of at least one perfect blazer that flatters your silhouette. Approach your trusted tailors and ask them to stitch a long-sleeved blazer that properly fits around the shoulders and the waist.
  5. No more cheap footwear: Don’t make your collection of shoes look cheap. Do a fine search for branded e-commerce shopping portals and buy something classy for your wardrobe racks. Every time you buy a footwear, make sure the collection is different and stylish from the prior purchase.
  6. Ties and diamond studs: Have a detached column for your ties and diamond studs. Try a mix and match of your tie sets with different shirts you have, and for the ladies, even faux ones can make you look beautiful. Avoid dangling earrings and carry the style with diamond studs.
  7. A pair of trendy sunglasses: Sunglasses are again, one of the important wardrobe essentials. Buy the trendy ones as per your face cut and don’t forget to put them on when going out for brunch or spend a dusky evening at a restaurant.
  8. Classic leather belts: You must have hiked your pants up with a shoelace in your childhood days, well the days are gone now. Your pieces of denim, track pants, trousers will look a” big zero” if you don't have a classic leather belt in your closet. They have their significance and must be present at any cost in your armoire.
  9. Pyjamas: Forget all the perfect clothes for once and think of wearing posh pyjamas, the level of luxury and comfort automatically raises up. Your cabinet should have at least three to four pair of matching pyjama suits to wear them at night and on holiday weekends. You can lounge in all day wearing them and still feel active.

When you peer in your armoire and have a “I-have-nothing-to-wear” moment, it’s time to show up. Make a list of accessories you need for every day and start assembling those, month by month. It’s the easiest way to get a classy cupboard.
