If you are looking to decorate your kitchen with some of the latest styles,2012 Range of Laura Ashley Tiles Articles you generally start off with the tiles in the kitchen. This is going to significantly change the look of the entire room drastically, and with so many different options, you are not going to have any issue finding exactly the look you are going for. One of the best brands come from Laura Ashley, the interior designer who creates her own line of tiles for home construction use. You can look over some of her designs, or visit a home improvement store near you to see what there is available in terms of ceramic tile, and with this in mind, you can design your own kitchen renovation around the looks and colours you see.

For starters, there are many different sizes of Laura Ashley tiles. These tiles range from small, quarter inch by quarter inch sheets of tiles, to larger, one foot by one foot tiles. The larger ceramic kitchen tiles are generally used for the floor of the kitchen, if you decide not to go with a different material (of course, you are able to use any sized tile with any surface in your kitchen). Generally, the smaller tiles are placed on the kitchen back splash, surrounding the back wall of the kitchen. It is up to you to decide if you want to take the entire back splash all the way up to the cupboards, or if you want to only place the back splash up part ways and leave it looking like this. You might want to experiment and only place the back splash up part way when first installing the tiles and see how it looks, then either leave it as is or fill in the rest of the area (of course, it is always going to be less expensive to use fewer tiles).

There are also any number of colours available for the ceramic tiles. These different colours ensure you are able to find the very best look for what you are going for. It is always best to go with colours that match the rest of your kitchen, including the worktop. You might want to bring in a sample image or colour into the home improvement store to see exactly how your kitchen would look with the desired tiles.

After you have selected the tiles you want to use in your kitchen, you now either need to install the tiles yourself, or have a professional do it. It isn't overly difficult to install the tiles yourself, and your home improvement store is more than likely able to show you exactly how to do it, but if you don't have the time and have extra money on hand, you can have a professional perform the task.
