Ceramic Tile and Wood Tile

High gloss finishes are very shiny but will show scratches. This finish does not hold up well in an area of high density of people where small stones or dirt on your shoes can easily scratch this surface. Matt finishes on the other hand are not shiny and have a dull surface appearance. This surface does not show scratches and is very suitable for areas that experience medium traffic. If you prefer a more shiny appearance then there are finishes and sealers available in the market that will add a little shine to the tile surface. Duraglaze finishes is a completely different kind of a tile that looks as if it has two layers of finishes.

Wood flooring has been favorites amongst people who wanted to incorporate a classy appeal to their special spaces. Wood tile does not work well with places that are exposed to moisture so they must be installed at dry places which are away from moisture or water. There is a huge variety of wood tiles available in the market and these are made of woods  like Hickory, Maple, Bamboo, Pine, Red Oak, White Oak, to name a few. These tiles are very durable and dirt resistant as well if properly polished.
